I am so happy you’re here.

If you are navigating relationship struggles, anxiety, grief, or loss…I would be honored to support you. I have specialized training in perinatal mental health and postpartum therapy, I am passionate about supporting individuals and couples through pregnancy, postpartum, and the identity shifts that come with becoming parents.

People describe coming to my office as feeling like a huge exhale to the heaviness of their week.

Therapy can hold both depth and lightness, and I often use humor to help make space for both. Whether you're joining sessions from home in your pajamas with your baby in your arms, or taking time for yourself to meet in person at my office in Encinitas, you are welcome exactly as you are.

Let’s get to it…

I’m Betsy, a Licensed Marriage Family Therapist with a passion for helping my clients break down old patterns to view themselves and their relationships differently.

I hope our sessions feel like talking with a trusted friend you've known forever, where there's little distance between what you're thinking and what you're able to say out loud.

Together, we'll identify the patterns that keep you feeling stuck, reconnect with your values, and cultivate the self-compassion needed to heal the younger parts of you that may have felt unseen or abandoned. My goal is for you to leave each session feeling lighter, more empowered, and hopeful that life doesn't have to feel this hard.

Whatever you're facing, you don't have to navigate it alone. I offer a free 15-minute consultation so we can explore whether we're a good fit and how I can best support you.

  • “Sharing my experience working with Betsy as a Pelvic Floor PT. I am a huge proponent of postpartum mental health support for women. There is a night and day difference in how my postpartum clients respond to PT when therapy is a part of their care. Betsy is knowledgeable, compassionate and impactful - I am excited when I refer my clients to her as I know they will be in the care of a trusted and skilled Therapist. Thank you Betsy!"

  • “I participated in the New Mom Group led by Betsy and absolutely loved my experience. It was so comforting to be surrounded by other new moms and babies of the same age as we navigated the joys and challenges of this season. The programming was intentional and educational, with the perfect balance of unstructured time to see where the conversations led. I would absolutely recommend any new mom to join!"
